How to style and wear a printed skirt for summer ?
Here I am taking my fav piece: Argo Art Fame City skirt. First, few words about it, cause it has an interesting story! The challenging print is based on the painting of Alma Redlinger. Alma changed her studio and for one year she painted nothing. The first painting she came back with was of the view of the city from her new studio’s window. Thus came to life what is known as City from Above.
Fashion and art have always had a close relationship (think Raf Simons and Sterling Ruby, Vivienne Westwood and Fragonard, etc). The cool people behind Argo Art Design bring a new art-fashion fusion with Alma’s paintings, giving them a new life.
Back to my outfit – the secret to pulling off a busy print on your lower half is to keep the rest of your ensemble crisp and clean, and opt for sleek accessories to provide some extra polish. I chose pearls for a retro vibe and finished the look with leg-lengthening sandals.
